De Pere, WI – Kimberly Machado lost her spirit animal last Thursday during a deep breathing meditation session and has been on the search for it ever since.

Her spirit animal, a lemur, manifested itself in physical form before her in her bedroom and then jumped out her first story window.

She has asked neighbors to keep a lookout for a ring-tailed lemur and if so to please return it to her. As the ring-tailed lemur poses no threat to humans she fears a family may adopt it.

“This isn’t like a lost cat,” Machado told Egobaby, “we’re talking about my spirituality here. I need this lemur to return to the spirit realm for guidance. If it gets killed or taken in as a family pet how am I going to make decisions for myself?”
